Lean Balanced Choice Meals

This meal plan is for people who want to eat healthy and maintain their general weight. It incorporates all the necessary nutrition (protein, fatty acids and carbs) your body needs. The food is comfortably familiar with traditional South African spicing and preparation. The focus is predominantly on convenience, vegetables and protein but there are also some treats for those with a sweet tooth.

Weight Loss – Mediterranean Diet

The Mediterranean Diet has been synonymous with a 70% higher life expectancy and supports an 80% chance of superior quality of life. It omits processed foods and its prime focus is utilising fresh, seasonal produce, preparing portion controlled vegetables, reduced amounts of red meat with an emphasis on the intake of lean meats, poultry and omega 3 rich proteins such as fish, and is predominantly Gluten free and restricts sugar/fructose and dairy intake.

Paleo Meals

The fundamental concept that we are genetically adapted to perform optimally when eating the fresh and wholesome foods that are naturally abundant in the nutrients that our bodies so badly need in order to thrive. This means you will not eat some of the “usual” ingredients like before. Take out the sugar and added sweeteners, modified dairy products, potato, grains and wheat, vegetable oils and anything else that has been refined or artificially made.

Most likely you have heard about the meals that Prof. Noakes talks about? This is the one. The emphasis is on the Low Carb intake. Each meal is Low Carb, High Fat and Medium Protein. The LCHF lifestyle is highly adopted in Scandinavian countries. This way of eating has also become very popular in South Africa recently.

This meal plan is all about PORTION size. We upsized our Hungry Balanced Choice meals by 30%. If you eat a lot or want to pick up weight it can be a good choice to achieve your goals. Remember, these meals are BIG!

Fitness Meals

If you train hard and want to gain lean muscle or cut down body fat, this is the perfect meal plan for you. NB: Exercise is strictly required. Sorry but this meal plan is all about macro nutrients  for your perfect body shape. Also the meals might appear to be repetitive, but do not worry, YOUR lean muscle mass gain is what counts. If you are looking for variety this is not your meal group.
